Volunteer New Starter Meeting
Once a volunteer’s application has been processed and they are ready to start volunteering then they should be invited to a new starter meeting (although it may be called something different).
This meeting may include:
- a welcome to the team
- a general induction
- a visit to the area they will be volunteering and an introduction to the manager / team and the role
- a local induction in the department that they will be volunteering
- issuing of ID badges
- issuing of uniform (if appropriate)
- agreeing a date / time for them to start volunteering
